Parties and definitions. In this Disclaimer: “BartSmarts,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean BartSmarts LLC, a limited liability company, and (where the context allows) its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and authorized representatives—not any single individual acting in a personal capacity. “BartSmarts family of channels” means the YouTube channels, social accounts, websites, storefronts, and related properties operated under the BartSmarts name or brand (including this website). “Site” means bartsmarts.com and any related subdomains or pages we control. “Content” means all information, videos, tutorials, reviews, text, images, links, and other materials on the Site or BartSmarts family of channels. “You,” “user,” “visitor,” “viewer,” and “consumer” mean any person or entity that accesses, views, uses, or relies on the Site or Content, whether once or repeatedly.
Educational and informational use only. All Content is provided by BartSmarts LLC for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Content constitutes professional advice (including medical, legal, engineering, electrical, financial, or safety certification advice).
Amazon affiliate disclosure. As an Amazon Associate, BartSmarts earns a small commission from qualifying purchases. As an Amazon influencer, affiliate, and/or associate operating through BartSmarts LLC, we may earn a small commission from qualifying purchases. This does not affect your price; commissions help support the BartSmarts family of channels. Amazon and other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Product reviews and recommendations. Product reviews, demonstrations, opinions, and any suggestions—whether stated, implied, or inferred—reflect our experiences and opinions only. They are not a formal endorsement in any way, shape, or form unless we expressly state otherwise either verbally and/or in writing. Manufacturers and sellers remain solely responsible for their products, warnings, and performance.
Assume all risk — including DIY and how-to content. Tutorials, experiments, builds, tool use, chemistry/electronics/3D-printing content, and similar materials involve real risks of injury, property damage, or worse. Results depend on your skill, tools, materials, environment, and whether you follow instructions exactly. If you modify, skip, or improvise steps, outcomes may differ sharply. You alone are responsible for your safety and for supervising minors. We are not responsible for injuries, burns, shocks, fires, explosions, chemical exposure, tool accidents, or any other harm resulting from use or misuse of the Content or of products discussed in the Content.
Third-party sites. Links to Amazon, Patreon, social platforms, YouTube, and other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, or practices.
No warranties. The Content is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability and assumption of risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, by using this Site or any BartSmarts family property, you (as defined above) agree to hold harmless and release BartSmarts LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and associates from any and all claims and damages—emotional, physical, property, financial, or otherwise—arising from use of this Site, other BartSmarts-branded sites or channels, the Content, product purchases, or any recommendations (implied or expressed). You accept full responsibility for your actions and the consequences of those actions. Use of or reliance on any Content or recommendations is 100% at your own risk.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BartSmarts LLC and the parties named above from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Content, your projects or experiments, or your breach of this Disclaimer.
